All BoilCoil™ and RIMS-Rocket™ Electric Heaters are rated at or below 30 Watts/in2, less than Ultra-Low-Watt-Density
To calculate the rate at which the BoilCoil™ will heat your wort, use the handy equation below:
Ramp Rate in °F/minute = 0.0068 X Watts / gallons
Volumetric Displacement of the BoilCoil
For reference the water volume increases by 4% as temperature goes from 70°F to 212°F.

"Boil Element"

Review Comments: Easy to install, no leaks, and great performance. Using the EBC-350 controller at 80%, had a 1.7gal/ boil off. Works great with other G2 accessories like dip tube, whirlpool, and even my stainless hop filter.
"Propane to Electric brewing conversion"

Review Comments: This kit is well thought out and simple to install, Comes complete with everything except other than drill, drill bits, and some hand tools, I had most of the tools, only needed a deep socket to tighten the outer nut on the heating element. took about 20 min. to install once I gathered all the tools in one place, Performance, heated 13 gallons of water from 76 deg f. to boil in about 25 min. I'm glad I got this coil that Dave at High Gravity recommended.
