Weld-B-Gone Bulkhead

If you want to add a valve (or other outlet) to your brewing pot, but lack experience in stainless steel welding (and don't want to pay for custom welding) we have the fittings for you. Made by Zymico, these weld less fittings feature backnuts that have machined O ring containment grooves for the included high temperature silicone washer, so it will stay in place (and not spread out) when the nut is tightened.

This stainless steel bulkhead fits in a 7/8" hole you drill with a metal rated holesaw (not included). The interior stainless steel bulkhead projects 1½" into the pot, and features ½" female pipe threads in case you want to attach something inside the pot. On the outside of the pot, the brass nut with silicone washer is installed, and the machined containment groove in the brass nut prevents the washer from spreading when tightened.  This bulkhead fits a valve with ½" female pipe thread fittings on the outside, and the ½" interior female threads fit the Bazooka screen for mashing (see link below).

An extra silicone washer is included (only one needed to install).  Needed 7/8" metal rated hole saw bit not included.
