This stainless steel heating element is the lowest watt-density and best material for a kettle. Good for batches up to 20 gallons.
For 5 - 10 gallon batches in a 15 gallon kettle, fine power control like that provided by our EBC III is recommended, or the evaporation rate will exceed 20% per hour.
Element is 4500 watts and uses a 250V 30A 3-Prong Twist-Loc receptacle.
Complete with 6 ft cord and Twist-Loc plug. Length: 13 inches.
To install with our Weldless Heating Element Kit, drill a 1.25 inch hole in the vessel.
